The Simplicity of Christmas

The Flock of the Holy Spirit Catholic Charismatic Community celebrated a simple Christmas Party last December 12, 2008. Unlike the Christmas party of 2007 that featured a Pasko sa Nayon (Christmas at the Village) theme, the FHS Pastoral Team decided to have a simple Christmas celebration with the catchphrase “Simple Lang” (Simple Only) in conjunction with the spirit of the season. The theme stressed on how the Son of God came down to Earth in simplest means. Christ was laid in a manger during His birth, symbolizing simplicity.

The mood of party was lively as Bro. Bert Ore and Sis. Butch Sanchez hosted the event. Cell groups presented dance numbers and other forms of entertainment while the 200+ attendees enjoyed a festive dinner. There were also parlor games, which was handled by Sis. Leah Dumlao, and raffle prizes. FHS Head Servant, Bro. Tony Tenedero ended the celebration with closing remarks, emphasizing on the theme of the night.
