FHS Outing for 2008 in Laguna

An outing was held last May 5, 2008 at the Robles Golden Resort in South Spring Villas, Pansol, Calamba City, Laguna. The place is near the location of last year’s outing, which is situated also in the South Spring Villas. Unlike the previous outing, many members of the FHS community joined this activity, including some of the participants from the recent Life in the Spirit Seminar last April and all Ministries were equally represented. Approximately, there were more than 60 members attended this event that started around 7:30 am.

This bigger venue has two swimming pools and two videokes, although, the pools needed to be cleaned and filled-up with water because a group of excursionists used the place for an overnight stay. Nevertheless, many members especially the kids had taken pleasure on swimming while the water slowly filled the pool and others enjoyed singing at the videokes with Bros. Bert Ore and Tony Tenedero having the most cheers.

The outing was intended to build fellowship and bonding among members of the Flock of the Holy Spirit community while praising God and sharing His message. Just like how the first Christians practiced:

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:46-47 NIV)
