The Journey of Tita Nel

Sis. Nelia Bilan, one of the dear Elders of the Flock of the Holy Spirit Community, joined our Creator last April 12, 2008 after giving in to a kidney disease at the age of 71. The following videos pay tribute to the legacy that Tita Nel left to the community, her family and friends.

Happy moments with the FHS members

This video features the songs “Hindi Kita Malilimutan” by Basil Valdez and “A Warrior is a Child” by Gary Valenciano. It shows pictures of her happy moments with the people in the community. She can be seen serving God and giving talks that inspire and enlightens the whole congregation.

Victorious journey

As the introduction of this video states: “T’was a tough battle but Mommy Nel victoriously made it to the finish line”, Sis. Nelia has journeyed this temporal life triumphantly with the help of God’s guidance and grace. Lea Salonga’s “The Journey” serves as background music for this video to emphasize on the successful journey of Sis. Nelia.

Through the years

Jim Brickman and Susan Ashton’s “The Gift” and Elvis Presley’s “Jail House Rock” are featured in this video presentation as Sis. Nelia can be seen in her younger years with her family and friends.

The godmother and jetsetter

"Leaving on a Jetplane" by Chantal Kreviazuk is used in this video presentation to depict Sis. Nelia’s travels in the country and around the world, particularly in Australia. It also shows picture slides of weddings where she stands as a godmother.
